I previously reported on Barbie In Iraq, from Iraq, in my 09 April 09 post. Here is an update of sorts, from AKO.


U.S. Army Soldiers hand out hundreds of pink backpacks filled with school supplies and toys to students at a girl's school in Iraq, March 25, 2010. The Soldiers, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division's Company C, 1st Battalion 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, delivered about 2,400 backpacks throughout the day.
